How fitting that my first real blog is on my
Birthday and Thanksgiving!
I am thankful that I have a wonderful family,
true friends and I have found the love of my life (took a while but it was
worth it!). I work with wonderful people
at a job I love. I am thank for the roof
over my head, a home that allows my pets.
I am thankful for the memories of those I have lost and the things they
have taught me.
My two favorite sayings are (not sure of the authors)
Do unto others as you
wish unto you
and
I complained I had no
shoes until I met a man who had no feet
I love animals; books, movies, music (almost any
kind), crafts, writing and I love the electronic age that allows me to access information
to learn more about the things I like and just for learning! (plus allows me to play Farmville, been
playing for 3 years now.)
I am bored easily; I always
have to be doing something. I read every
day, thank god for e-readers and tablets!
I can read on my breaks at work and waiting for rides, waiting at appointments,
in the car (I don’t drive) etc. I will
always love real books and still read them when I am home (I usually read at
least 2 books at a time). Right now
reading Seekers 3: Smoke Mountain by Erin Hunter (Coby, Kyros 7” Tablet),
Lasher by Ann Rice (Kobo Reader) and Feathered Serpent by Junius Podrug, book.
I love to learn and
believe that we learn new things every day.
I believe everything
happens for a reason. There is a lot I wish
never happened to me but would not change anything because then I wouldn’t be
who I am today.
I believe everyone has
the right to believe what they want as long as no living thing is hurt.
I believe in turning the
other cheek, but realize that you soon run out of cheeks. Do not believe in physical violence unless in
self-defense or in defense of someone/something that can’t defend itself.
I want to use this blog
to tell others about my thoughts on books etc. and to promote causes I believe
in.
I hope you will come back to visit and share your
thoughts.
Today’s cause is TJ, a cat that is looking for a
home, I have met this cat a few times and wish I could take him but don’t think
the 4 I have now would appreciate that.

Click the link for more info. The above pic doesn't do him justice, below is some pics I took the other day, check out his pretty tail:
Well I have to go for now. I hope to see you again. Feel free to leave a comment. I will be adding more links later, about different subjects but it will take time for me to sort through them. :)
