I was able to install one of the programs I found the other night, k9webprotection. It wasn't hard to set up, and it did offer protection for IPhone's, IPod's, IPad's and/or Android. It was easy to use but I did notice there wasn't remote access like the other but did offer daily emails. Although it was fairly easy to use I couldn't figure out how to set it up on just the kid’s user accounts. It would send alerts on who ever used the computer.
The
other one I installed came from CNet called Verity Free Parental ControlSoftware. It is also free and was easy
to install. It was similar to the K9,
they were almost the same, little differences.
Verity did not offer protection for Android. But you could turn this one off so adults can
use it only if you had the password.
The
others I found that said “free” where not free only free 15 days etc. Very disappointing. Sometimes you downloaded
before it told you. And one asked for my phone number and I didn’t go any
further. Why would they need my phone
number?
Thanks for your time! come back soon,
Alice
