Now that truly is a Big Bike!!!! ;)

Every year The Heart and Stroke Foundation raises money in a unique way.

I am lucky and have been able to see it from my apartment every year!

This year decided to share some videos and pictures.

Now every time the Bike goes around there is a different business or group of people on it.

It holds 30 riders, peddling.

It is something to see!

And looks like a lot of fun!

A whole WEEK off!!!!

Well it looks like I will get a whole week off!

I worked yesterday (Monday) and I do not go back until Feb 18, 2014!

I am more of less caught up on my house work 

(just basic stuff like vacuuming and dusting, general straightening up).

So now I can get more work done on my blogs and work on the course I am taking.

Actually that is why I did not sign up for anything this year.

I am going to still read (will never stop that!)

I will be updating my blog "My Books and Reading" and will add titles and comments when I finish each book (that is one of the goals I set for myself.)

So later today will get a chance to catch up on some of the blogs I follow and check out Google+ (I really miss the nice pictures and stuff I find there.)

But for now I just wanted to say HI!

And share a couple of pictures of Little Boy (one of my cats).

When I started typing he would not leave me alone, he wants to play.

Surprised I got any pictures that were clear!

And not to be out done, the other 3 decided they wanted attention too!

Poor Baby had no room to go the table.

I think he was a little mad.

He was still on the table behind my monitor!

My pictures from the December Ice Storm!

Here are the pictures I took the morning after the ice storm.

First though it looks like I am working tomorrow (Sat) for 5 hours and Monday for 6.5 hours as well.

Both girls in the front are sick so will cover part of their shifts for them.

I just hope my doctor doesn't find out I am standing more than 4 hours a day!

Okay now for some pictures!!

We were lucky no one was hurt in our area or much damage.  

We did lose power for a few hours all over the city, we lost power here for about 8 hours but it was early morning (approx 1:30 am to 10 am) and some did not notice it was off that long.

The other side of town did not lose power until later in the morning or afternoon so they noticed it more.

These were taken on Lancaster Dr in Welland, Ontario, Canada the day after the storm.

Here is a couple of close ups of the branch hanging over the sidewalk from the picture above.

 

It is amazing how beautiful nature can be as well as dangerous!

Finally...........

Some time for my favorite past time (besides reading).

Well my hours have been cut again, actually had 5 days off in a row!

Of course 3 of them was getting my apartment back in order, Christmas decorations put away, furniture back in place (than decided to change the room around LOL, so moved the furniture again!)

Went out for New Year's Eve, to bingo in town than my boyfriend picked me up from bingo at 9:30 pm and we went to the casino.

We did not get back until 7:40 am New Year's Day!

And we actually came home with more money than we left with!

It was lots of fun!

I have to work tomorrow for 5 hours, than find out what happens next week with my hours.

The girl that was on sick leave is now back full time I believe.

Anyways I do have some pictures to share :)

First some pictures of some of my Christmas presents.

These prove that those that love me know exactly what I like.

My sister and her family gave me this picture of a tiger.

Here are 3 different views, they all look like the tiger is looking at you.

Plus this beautiful Wolf Calender.

Years ago me and my girlfriend saw this cup, and I wanted to get one but we couldn't find it.

Well she found it and gave it to me for Christmas.

Check out what it says!

And my boyfriend found this for me.

It is a cat tea pot!

He also gave me (just before Christmas) this Christmas Tree from Scentsy with Mandarin Moon wax for it. 

(Beautiful scent for Christmas).

And his daughter gave me these cute kitty earrings!

(Do you see the theme? Cats!)

And I also love wolves!

And this bracelet that has A for Alice on it.

And it goes with the bracelet my secret Santa at work gave to me (plus a round scarf and nail polish).

Bling! Yes!

I received many nice things this Christmas (including my favorite gift cards for Tim Hortons!  Another collectors cup plus some ornaments for next years tree), 

wish I could post all the pictures. 

I did buy some new ornaments before Christmas.

I also bought some Christmas flowers.

 This one is still getting more blooms!

I also got some new tins for under the tree.
