Easy, stop trying to fix it!  I swear it looked better before!

But figured it was done in fun so why not!

Okay, can you tell I like Doctor Who!!

He would make the perfect Wizard of Oz!

I know I posted this a little late,

Hello!!!! Paintings and Handmade Rings!!!! ;)

Hi everyone!  Sorry been real busy.  Had to move a bunch of things around in my living-room and dining-room.  I got the new TV on Sunday, so had to change things around so could work on PC and watch TV at the same time.  Also gave me a chance to sort through my craft supplies.   Think I am good for the Free workshop "ChakrART" on March 4th.  If you want to join us, check it out by clicking this picture (It will open in a new tab)

Also have enough for my 2 current projects, plus a few more!  I really should stop buying paints, markers, oil pastels etc.  I am running out of room!!!  

Bad habit with me to stock up on things, like crafts, books, movies, puzzle books etc, one thing for sure will never be bored!  That is why I like being home.  So much to do and not  enough time!!! LOL!

 When dining-room done will post some pictures, the main art for room I will be getting soon (MagicLoveCrow's paintings, cannot wait!!!!).  But for now will share a picture of my new TV, it even has a USB port, YEY!!!!!

Okay this one is the TV and the bottom screen is the monitor I bought a few weeks ago.

The TV is a 51"  HD Flat Screen Plasma(with USB port).

Think I got the better end of this deal, boyfriend wanted the 52 flat screen, back projection TV in the living-room to watch sports!  So he bought me this one!

Okay have some more stuff to show you.  The first time I saw Magics shop on Etsy, I thought will look through it one day (the have many shops there, like a mall on the internet) when you get there you can search for certain things or shops by entering key words in the search at the top.

Well I was browsing around and found a few things.  As you know I like unique things, hand made.

Well look what I found looking under paintings at Grace on Etsy:

Isn't it cute!!!!!!  I have decided to dedicate one wall to the small paints or aceos.  And the other wall will hold MagicLoveCrow's paintings!!!!  

I also found these (another of my weaknesses - think I got it from my mother) at  LiquidCoyote on Etsy

I love rings!!!  I have enough rings to put on all my fingers(and thumbs) and change them every day for over a month without wearing the same one twice!  Plus I inherited my mothers rings as well.

These are handmade, aren't they beautiful!!

Even the boxes are were made too!!

They were on sale, the fourth ring started me off, as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it!

Just an book and PC update ;)

Hi all will be doing research on company UPC#s to see what more I can find.  Will be my weekend project.

Today I got my new computer! Yay!!!  It is fast and has 1 TB hard drive, 6 GB ram but added 8 GB stick for increased speed. Also has Windows 8, seems to be okay, was a little worried about the new windows but seems to be user friendly.  Have made all necessary disks and back ups and registered everything.  All I have left to do is finish installing printer, camera etc software.  Oh by the way looks great and my new monitor, which is perfect for this one.  And they match!  LOL

So tomorrow will be setting up my aunt's MP3 for her. Probably switch this new keyboard back to my old one, this new one seems a bit small.  Tomorrow night will let Foxy post, or Little Boy if he can work up the nerve, lol.

Next week only working 4 hours each day so yipee more time for reading /writing blogs and reading books (although I read everyday,wish I could read more) and a little time to work on a special project for the Oz Altered Celebration.  Okay just switched keyboards, this is a lot better, can type faster with less mistakes!

Since it is faster means no more waiting for pages to load while doing research, was amazed how fast it is compared to my laptop, which was not that bad, until it decided it wanted to act funny.

For the readers out there I bought some more books, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (I know, but I have never read it before) it came with another copy of the Hobbit, (paper back- all four books $20.00) which is okay since the one I am reading is on Kobo.

 I also bought Secret of the Dragon (hardcover also on sale for $2.00) by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

 Plus found a new blog today through Book Blogs called Midnight Thrillers where I saw a book review on The Dead of Winter By Jack Night (I bought this one from Kobo $3.96) which I also bought, this is one of the next ones I intend to read, for the New Authors Challenge 2013.

I swear some of the best books I have read I bought on sale, how weird is that?  Also a great way to read new authors and different styles of writing. 

Do any of you remember a series a while ago called Flash Forward, I believe, wasn't a big hit, but I read the book, Flash Forward by Robert J Sawyer about a year before (one of my $2.00 ones) and the book was fantastic!  If you like Sci-fi you would like the concept of this book.  God I love imagination. ;~)

Okay I have to go for now but I will be back!

Gingerbread Village

Hi!!   I fell a little better so finished today!!

The Gingerbread Village is done!!

Everything made from candy except base.

It is the first time I ever made anything like this.

Forgot to put the candy canes in Santa's Sleigh, had to add them.

After Christmas will spray again to make sure everything is cover and store for next year.

Now to decorate some cookies!

Christmas at work

Hi all!

We had our Christmas party/dinner at work tonight.  It was great and the food was really good.  We get out meal from a local restaurant called the Blue Star.  We use them every year good food and a great deal for the money!

We also have secret Santa as well.  First check what I got from some of my coworkers. (They didn’t have to get extra things, we all pick one name to get a gift for).

 Magic I think you will like this!  One of the managers made each of us a Christmas Ornament, she painted them herself!!! They are beautiful!! Here is mine, 3 different views.

And from my secret Santa!

A cat ornament, the size of a small grapefruit!

Well now going to finish the tree and tomorrow the sleigh (when I come home from the doctors) then spray them and show all of you. Hopefully the house will done tomorrow night and show you the whole village!!

Reindeer cat and Gingerbread Village

 Hi again!!!

Here are update and pictures of my Gingerbread Village.  

Also check out Sweetie!  He thinks he is a reindeer now not a cat or a dog!

Didn’t finish the ginger tree but will tomorrow, I ran out of white icing.  ;(  Good news only have one side left to do on sleigh, so I can use the rest of the white on the tree.  ;~) The Reindeer and Santa for sleigh are done.  See:

Here is my village so far.  I found some candy cane trees and check out the video of the village.  The two globes light up and change color.  I got them from the dollar store.  One is a tree and the other a snowman.
